Production Team Leader

Shift Supervisor / Production Team Leader – Afternoon Shift Location: Royton, OL1 Hours: 1.45pm–10.15pm Monday–Friday (40hrs per week) Salary: £15.03ph (£31,262.40 per annum) Duration: Temp to perm, could also be perm from day one Start: ASAP Experience/Fit: Production and Supervisory experience preferred. Role and Responsibilities: As a production Team Leader/Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising production staff and managing the workflow on a shift. Key duties include: * Supervising production teams to meet output, quality, and safety standards * Monitoring daily production schedules and ensuring materials and resources are prepared for each shift * Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste * Ensuring compliance with safety regulations * Training and mentoring employees, conducting pre-shift meetings, and addressing performance issues * Managing documentation and reporting deviations or quality issues Skills and Qualifications: Preferred skills for a production Cell Leader/Supervisor include: * Strong leadership and organisational skills to manage teams effectively * Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, quality control, and safety protocols * Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure to maintain production flow Sure Start Staff act as an Employment Agency for permanent roles and an Employment Business for temporary opportunities
