Senior Site Manager

The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a leading privately owned residential developer and main contractor delivering high-quality homes, apartment schemes, and mixed-use developments across the UK. The business has an excellent reputation for delivering premium residential communities, large RC frame developments, regeneration projects, and sustainable housing schemes, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major residential project in Bristol consisting of reinforced concrete apartment blocks alongside traditional housing elements. The Role As Senior Site Manager, you will take responsibility for managing key phases of the development, overseeing operational teams, subcontractors, programme delivery, and quality throughout construction. You will play a leading role on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards across both RC frame and traditional build packages. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with previous experience managing large residential schemes within busy construction environments. Key Responsibilities Managing day-to-day site operations across RC frame apartment and housing works Coordinating subcontractors, labour, and site teams Driving programme performance and ensuring project milestones are achieved Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and site presentation Overseeing internal and external construction activities Managing QA procedures, inspections, and snagging processes Liaising with project managers, engineers, consultants, and commercial teams Supporting handover and completion phases across the development Ensuring all works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and specification Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on large residential developments Strong background in RC frame apartment projects Experience with traditional house building beneficial Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills Ability to manage fast-paced construction programmes and multiple subcontractors Essential Qualifications SMSTS CSCS Card First Aid at Work What’s on Offer Major long-term residential development in Bristol Competitive salary or freelance rate High-profile RC frame and housing project Excellent pipeline of future work Opportunity to work with a highly respected residential developer and contractor
