Key Responsibilities Work from schematic and mechanical GA drawings Set, operate and programme CNC turning machines Write CNC programmes from scratch and troubleshoot issues Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and component availability Machine a variety of materials including aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel, leaded bronze and plastics Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications Follow company policies and maintain a safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures Skills & Experience Required Minimum 5 years experience as a CNC Turner Setter Programmer Strong ability to write programmes from scratch and problem-solve effectively xwzovoh Experience with CNC programming languages and software (Prototrak and Siemens preferred) Familiarity with XYZ machines is advantageous Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings High attention to detail and commitment to quality Strong communication skills and a proactive approach Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering) beneficial
