Do you want to be part of ongoing transformation and improvement in our therapy services?An exciting opportunity has become available for a suitably experienced therapist to join Core Therapies as a Therapy Service Lead with a portfolio in Neurosciences and Major Trauma.You will be well-supported by the Core Therapies senior leadership team and will be provided with opportunity to develop and grow into a senior leader of the future.You will lead the delivery of our Neurosciences and Major Trauma services. You will have strong links with other Therapy Service leads within Core Therapies as well as the Head of Occupational Therapy and Head of Physiotherapy , working seamlessly to drive the therapy vision forwards in the Trust.Main duties of the jobAs a Therapy Service Lead you will work across professional and organisational boundaries to expand and develop the therapy services and act as a point of contact for advice on professional and operational issues.In this role you will be responsible for the assurance of high standards of clinical governance and demonstrable best practice across the therapy services, ensuring high quality therapy for patients. You will also promote a culture of continuous improvement using local and national data to enhance clinical practice, service delivery, efficiency and performance.This is an exciting leadership opportunity within a large NHS organisation, delivering specialist therapy services both locally and regionally. within agreed standards and competency frameworks.To work closely alongside the senior therapy leadership team to provide cohesive and efficient therapy services.To implement innovative models of service delivery and professional support.To provide regular supervision to clinical lead therapists.To ensure the service meets local and national standards as well as clinical governance
