ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE / MECHANICAL FITTER

Location: CH66, The Wirral
Pay: £13–£14 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, plus overtime
Job Type: Full-time

Our client, a busy and established manufacturer based in the CH66 area, is looking for a reliable and hardworking Assembly Operative / Mechanical Fitter to join their production team.

This is a practical, hands-on role involving the building and assembly of products within a factory environment. Full training will be provided, so formal qualifications are not essential, although previous experience in assembly, mechanical fitting, manufacturing or production would be beneficial.

THE ROLE

Building and assembling products within a factory environment

*

Using hand tools and basic equipment safely

*

Following instructions, drawings and production processes

*

Carrying out manual handling and some lifting

*

Working to production targets and deadlines

*

Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working area

*

Supporting the wider production team as required

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone who is:

Practical and confident using hand tools

*

Mechanically minded with good hands-on skills

*

Reliable, punctual and hardworking

*

Comfortable with manual work and some lifting

*

Able to work well within a busy production team

*

Flexible and willing to learn

Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, Production Operative or Factory Operative would be advantageous but is not essential.

Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week with overtime available.
