Planning Enforcement Lawyer

Our client, based in Ipswich, is currently recruiting for a Planning Enforcement Lawyer on a 6-month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position. Duties will include (but are not limited to): * Handling a variety of enforcement matters, including enforcement notice breaches, breach of condition notices/planning enforcement notices, planning injunctions and community infrastructure levy recovery * Working alongside the Senior Lawyer, assisting them to get through the backlog of planning enforcements matters * Some advocacy required, potentially once per week from the start of the contract Skills & Experience required: * Experience with advocacy * Experience working with customers within local government Rewards and Benefits: * Hybrid working * Flexible working days Working hours: * 37 hours per week * Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
