The team is expected to grow rapidly in the near future to meet increasing global demands. We are looking for an Electronic Component Engineer to join the team and manage as well as support the selection, qualification, and lifecycle of electronic components used in our Automotive products.What you can look forward to as Electronic Component Engineer:Select, evaluate, and approve electronic components (active and passive) to meet design, performance, and reliability requirementsDefine and support component qualification, testing, and validation activitiesManage component lifecycle risks, including obsolescence, second sourcing, and supply continuitySupport design teams with technical guidance, alternatives, and best-practice component usageWork with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and improve component performanceEnsure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standardsMaintain component data, documentation, and standards within internal systemsWork with Siemens EDM tools (or equivalent systems) to manage electronic component data, approvals, and lifecycle managementYour profile as Electronic Component Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent industry experienceStrong knowledge of electronic components (active and passive)Experience with component selection, qualification, and lifecycle managementKnowledge of electronic suppliers and supply chainFamiliarity with Siemens EDM or similar component management toolsGood understanding of REACH and RoHS compliance regulationsKnowledge and understanding of quality, reliability, and compliance requirementsDemonstrated ability to work effectively with global cross functional teamsStrong oral and written communication skills, logical problem solving abilities, and openness to learning through feedbackWhy you should choose ZF in Shirley: Competitive compensationPension System2x Life Assurance coverHealth CashplanBe part of our ZF team as Electronic Component Engineer and apply now!ContactAnne Jügling+49 211 584 2099
