Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering / Highways We’re working with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering highways and infrastructure works across the UK. With a strong pipeline of secured projects, they’re looking to bring in an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a leading role within the commercial team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more ownership, the chance to mentor others, and to be fully involved in the commercial performance of projects. The role: Take full commercial responsibility from enquiry through to final account Produce and manage monthly CVRs and financial reporting  Oversee cost control, budgets, and project profitability  Manage contract documentation, negotiations, and compliance (NEC)  Lead on applications, valuations, and cash flow management  Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders  Mentor and support junior surveyors within the team What they’re looking for: Proven experience in a Senior QS / experienced QS role Strong background in civil engineering or highways projects Good understanding of NEC contracts Confident managing projects commercially from start to finish Strong leadership and communication skillsWhat’s on offer: Competitive salary + package Car allowance Private healthcare & enhanced benefits Hybrid working Genuine progression and long-term work pipeline
