Onshore Remote Operations Supervisor

The position of Remote Center Operations Supervisor in SSR Subsea Robotics exists for the purpose of supervising remote ROV operations in the Onshore Remote Operations Center (OROC).This individual will support all remote ROV operations on Oceaneering projects, drilling rigs and other vessels of opportunity.  Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry. With our next generation of subsea vehicles, such as the Liberty E-ROV and Freedom AUV, we push the boundaries of autonomy and remote work capabilities, using machine learning for better decision making and asset maintenance. REQUIRED    Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience offshore industry performing ROV related scopes.     Five (5) years minimum experience working with Oceaneering ROV systems supporting offshore O&G scopes.    Strong piloting skillset / comfortable working under critical path higher pressure situations.     Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, and ERP System, PeopleSoft preferred.     Must hold/maintain a valid passport and be able to obtain visas for international travel.DESIRED    Experience with various ROV scopes to include dual ROV construction vessel, drill support, and completions.     Data communications and data network experienceWork closely with SSR & OPG Project Management, Service Excellence groups, and clients to schedule remote operations at the OROC. In cooperation with Service Excellence technical support group, ensure that equipment at OROC is in a functional state and ready to support remote operations. Work with Corporate IT and Integrity Management & Data Solutions groups to maintain robust and secure IT Infrastructure for Remote Operations. Assist with the creation of procedures, processes, competencies etc. that are specific to remote operations. Assist with the evaluation and qualification of new technologies that support remote operations. Ensure standardization of remote services through collaboration with other OROC supervisors. Assist Sales, Marketing and Commercial in development of marketing materials, proposal development and contract specifications. Ensure that OROC users work to the established standards for operational excellence. Provide support to customer representatives attending operational activities at OROC.Key Accountabilities    Maximize uptime of OROC    Manage inventory of equipment     Manage costs associated with operating OROC and stocking equipmentKey Interactions    Ensure through discussion, alignment with the following groups for support requirementso    Technical Support (Service Excellence)o    Corporate ITo    Integrity Management & Data Solutions    Ensure through discussion, alignment with the Project and Service Excellence groups for operations schedulingCritical Behaviors    Call Out and correct Opt Out / Legacy or any undermining behaviors    Learn what it means to work effectively in a matrix organization     Engage in collaborative problem solving and follow through on agreementsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics•    Strong problem-solving track record •    Ability to plan, organize and direct the work of others •    Excellent networking, negotiation, verbal and written skills •    Treats others fairly and with respect Full timePosting Date: 2026-07-16
