We're working with a well-established residential developer with a strong presence across South Yorkshire who is looking to appoint a Planning Manager to join their team.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading planning activities across the regional portfolio, including:

• Managing planning applications from promotion through to approval

• Developing planning strategies to support land acquisition and development objectives

• Liaising with Local Authorities, planning consultants, landowners and key stakeholders

• Supporting land, technical and commercial teams throughout the planning process

• Monitoring planning policy and legislation to identify opportunities and risks

• Coordinating external consultants and managing planning budgets where required

What They're Looking For

• Previous experience within a Planning Manager or Senior Planning role

• Experience within housebuilding, residential development, land promotion or planning consultancy

• Strong understanding of the UK planning system, NPPF and planning legislation

• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills

• Commercial awareness and the ability to support strategic land decisions

• A proactive and organised approach with the ability to manage multiple projects
