Location: Kirklees Council, Flint Street, Fartown, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 6LG

Contract: Temporary Assignment (3 - 4 Months)

Hours: Full Time

Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour PAYE

Working Pattern: Hybrid Working

Kirklees Council is seeking three Housing Services Officers to support the efficient management and allocation of vacant council properties.

Working within a busy housing team, you will be responsible for helping to minimise void rental loss by ensuring properties are advertised, allocated and re-let as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will liaise with a range of internal teams and external partners to support the lettings process and ensure homes are brought back into use promptly.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with housing, administration or customer service experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and making a positive difference to local communities.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Carry out all administrative duties relating to tenancy terminations and receipt of keys.
• Verify and process relevant tenancy documentation accurately.
• Create high-quality, informative property adverts to support intelligent lettings.
• Ensure vacant properties are advertised promptly to minimise rent loss.
