Are you interested in gaining practical experience working with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support? A supportive and inclusive specialist school in Reading is seeking a Graduate Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for graduates considering careers in education, youth work, psychology, counselling, or social care. As a Graduate Behaviour Mentor, you will support pupils who may present with challenging behaviour, SEMH needs, ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs. You will help students develop emotional regulation skills, improve behaviour for learning, and build positive relationships within the school environment. This Graduate Behaviour Mentor role will involve: Providing 1:1 and small group behavioural support Assisting pupils with emotional regulation strategies Encouraging positive engagement in lessons and school activities Supporting pastoral and wellbeing initiatives Working closely with teachers and support staff ASAP start Reading location with strong transport connectionsThe successful Graduate Behaviour Mentor will be resilient, empathetic, and committed to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. Previous experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals is advantageous but not essential.
