Our Client, a well-established and growing property consultancy in the North East, is hiring an experienced Residential Surveyor / Valuer to join their team on a permanent basis. What you'll be doing: * Carrying out residential property inspections and surveys across the North East * Preparing detailed, professional residential survey reports and valuations * Identifying and reporting on property defects, condition issues, and overall property condition * Providing clients with clear, practical guidance on both property condition and value * Producing accurate, well-presented reports in line with relevant RICS standards * Managing your own workload and appointments to meet deadlines and client expectations * Building strong relationships with clients and other property professionals * Keeping up to date with relevant RICS guidance, regulations, and industry standards What you'll bring: * AssocRICS or MRICS accreditation * Experience in residential surveying and/or property valuation * Strong knowledge of residential construction, building defects, and property condition * Proven experience producing professional residential survey and valuation reports * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-first mindset * Confidence working independently and managing your own caseload * A full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel to residential properties across the North East Additional information: * Permanent role with salary described as competitive, depending on experience * Opportunity to work across a varied residential property portfolio and client base Ready to put your surveying expertise to work with a specialist, growing consultancy?
