HGV Class 2 Driver - Days | Temp to Perm | Coventry

Looking for a long-term HGV Class 2 driving role? SR Drivers are recruiting on behalf ofa well-established UK manufacturer, for experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers based in Coventry (CV5) .

This is an excellent Temp to Perm opportunity offering regular weekday work, an assigned vehicle, structured training and the chance to secure a permanent position with a respected employer.
Pay & Benefits £16.25 per hour during your first 12 weeks (PAYE)
£19.22 per hour after successfully completing 12 weeks
Weekly pay whilst temporary
Permanent pay every 4 weeks (Thursday pay cycle)
£25 night out allowance
Up to £25 parking reimbursement per night out
M6 Toll expenses paid (authorisation required)
Monday to Friday working
No weekend work
No Friday night outs
Assigned vehicle
Driver equipment provided (tyre gauge and portable inspection light)
20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (upon permanent employment)
Full structured training programme

The Role As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will deliver manufactured products to customers across England, Wales and parts of Scotland .
Your duties will include:
Multi-drop deliveries (typically 1-17 drops per day )
Loading and unloading your vehicle when required
Delivering palletised and loose-loaded products
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Daily vehicle safety checks
Planning delivery routes efficiently
Completing up to 2 nights out per week , when required
Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
What We're Looking For To be considered, you must have:
Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience
Experience driving manual rigid vehicles
Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
Professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
Aged 25 or over (insurance requirements)
