General Labourer Required – Horsham (8-Week Project) Location: Horsham Start Date: 6th July Duration: 8 Weeks Rate: £17.50 - £18.00 per hour We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable General Labourer for an 8-week refurbishment project based in Horsham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional site team on a busy project, with work commencing on 6th July. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of site labouring duties, supporting the site management team and trades throughout the project. A significant part of the role will involve assisting with the strip-out phase, ensuring materials are removed safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organised working environment. Duties will include: * Assisting with strip-out and demolition works * Removal and disposal of waste materials * Site clearance and maintaining high housekeeping standards * Loading, unloading and moving materials around site * Assisting skilled trades and subcontractors as required * Protecting finished areas and materials * Following all site health and safety procedures * Reporting any hazards or issues to site management * General labouring duties as directed by the site supervisor Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must have: * A valid CSCS Card * A current Enhanced DBS Certificate * Previous experience working on construction or refurbishment projects * Good understanding of site health and safety * Strong work ethic and reliability * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Full PPE What We Offer * Competitive pay rate of £17.50 - £18.00 per hour * 8 weeks of continuous work * Opportunity to work with an established contractor * Immediate start from 6th July * Weekly pay If you meet the above criteria and are available to start on 6th July, we'd like to hear from you.
