About the role

Lead Technical Safety Manager

Location: London

Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Own the growth and direction of the Technical Safety team
Lead business development and convert your network into new opportunities
Act as the senior technical representative with clients
Lead HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL/LOPA workshops
Oversee QRA, FERA, EERA, and ALARP demonstration
Guide Loss Prevention, Safety Case, and COMAH work
Mentor and develop engineers as the team expands

Requirements

15+ years of experience in Technical Safety, primarily within oil & gas
Recognised expertise in QRA, FERA, SECE identification, performance standards, and barrier development
Strong understanding of the UK regulatory framework
Engineering degree or Master's, ideally in Chemical Engineering
Functional Safety and HAZOP Leader certification preferred
