With a strong secured pipeline and a reputation for quality delivery, they're now looking to appoint a Project QS to take ownership of the commercial function on a live scheme.The RoleTake full commercial responsibility for an individual project, from post-contract through to final accountPrepare monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs) and report on project profitabilityManage subcontractor procurement, including enquiries, comparisons, and order placementValue works completed and process subcontractor payments in line with contract termsMeasure, price, and agree variations with the client/main contractorPrepare and negotiate final accounts with both client and subcontractorsIdentify commercial risks and opportunities, escalating to the Commercial/Contracts Manager as neededLiaise closely with site management to ensure commercial and operational alignmentSupport the wider commercial team on tender adjudications and cost planning where requiredAbout YouPrevious experience as a Project QS, ideally within (main contracting / fit-out / groundworks — insert package type)Sound knowledge of JCT and/or NEC forms of contractStrong commercial acumen with experience managing full project lifecyclesConfident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, subcontractors, and site teamsDegree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)Full UK driving licenceWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary + car/car allowancePension, healthcare, and additional benefits packageClear progression pathway within a growing businessSecured project pipeline across Hertfordshire and the Home CountiesTo Apply Please contact Luke at SSA Group — /
