Production Operative

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client in Alfreton for a reliable and safety-conscious Production Operative to join their busy team. Why you’ll love this role: * Competitive pay of £14.12 per hour, equating to approximately £565 per week (based on 40 hours) * Flexible shift patterns to suit your lifestyle – early, late, or nights options available * Work with a well-established employer who prioritises safety and quality * Gain experience using a variety of tools and equipment in a supportive environment * Opportunity for long-term employment with potential career progression Key responsibilities include: * Setting up moulds accurately to prepare for concrete production * Pouring and levelling concrete to ensure high-quality finished products * Using an abrasive wheel to clean re-usable cast-in components such as steel pins * Cutting and drilling rubber pads that are fitted into the concrete * Performing concrete repairs and general finishing duties with attention to detail * Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within the production area * Working to strict health and safety guidelines at all times What we’re looking for: * Previous experience in a construction or manufacturing environment is essential * Confidence using hand tools and power equipment safely * Strong understanding of workplace safety and quality standards * Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance record * Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions If you’re ready to join a growing team in Alfreton and make your mark in production, we want to hear from you!
