Operations Manager Location: Stonehouse Contract: Permanent Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 DOE Are you an experienced Operations Manager looking for a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Do you have a strong mechanical background and experience managing operations, assembly, logistics, and warehouse activities while remaining hands-on when required? This is an excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager to join a growing company where you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations while supporting assembly and operational performance across the business. The successful Operations Manager will be responsible for managing operational workflows, coordinating supply chain and logistics activities, supporting assembly operations, and ensuring customer orders are delivered efficiently and on time. Benefits Permanent full-time opportunity Competitive salary package Stable and growing business Supportive working environment Opportunity to influence operational improvements Varied and hands-on role Role Responsibilities Manage daily operational activities across assembly, warehouse, and logistics Oversee assembly operations and support hands-on activities when required Coordinate inventory, purchasing, and supply chain activities Ensure customer orders are processed and delivered on time Monitor operational performance and implement efficiency improvements Lead and support operational staff and workflows Maintain health & safety and operational standards Work closely with sales, purchasing, customer service, and leadership teams The Person Previous experience as an Operations Manager or within a similar operational leadership role Strong mechanical or engineering background Experience within assembly, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Comfortable managing day-to-day operations while remaining hands-on when needed Strong communication and leadership abilities Experience using ERP or stock management systems would be advantageous If you are interested and have the relevant experience, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV.
