Repairs Planner / Scheduler – Social Housing Barnsley (S70) £16.90 per hour Temp (3 months initially) Immediate Start We’re currently recruiting for a Repairs Planner / Service Controller to join a busy social housing contractor based in Barnsley. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling day-to-day/reactive repairs for trades across a housing portfolio. ⸻ The Role • Scheduling and allocating work to operatives • Managing diaries and workloads for engineers/trades • Handling reactive and planned maintenance jobs • Liaising with tenants and internal teams • Updating systems and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently ⸻ What We’re Looking For • Experience in repairs planning / scheduling (social housing ideal) • Strong knowledge of day-to-day/reactive repairs • Experience using systems like MRI, Maintain, Impact Response or similar • Good Excel and general IT skills • Strong communication skills (customer-facing role) ⸻ Additional Info • Office-based role • Immediate interviews available • Potential to extend beyond initial contract ⸻ Apply Now If you’re a Planner, Scheduler, or Service Controller looking for your next contract, apply today or get in touch for more details
