Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum Type: Permanent Contractor: Tier One Main Contractor Project Duration: Long‑term work on a flagship UK infrastructure project The Role We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a Tier One contractor on the Sizewell C nuclear new‑build project. This is a permanent, long‑term position offering excellent job security and the opportunity to work on one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious infrastructure schemes. The successful candidate will be a well‑rounded Site Engineer, comfortable with both setting out on site and handling the technical / paperwork side of the role. Key Responsibilities Setting out for civils and infrastructure works using GPS / total station Maintaining accuracy and quality control on site Completing and managing engineering paperwork, including: QA documentation ITPs As‑built records Site records and technical documentation Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the design team Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification Requirements Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong setting out experience Confident with the paperwork / engineering documentation side of the role Comfortable working for a Tier One contractor in a structured site environment Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent experience) Package & Benefits £40,000 – £45,000 salary (dependent on experience) Company car Lodge / subsistence provided if home address is more than 50 miles from site 26 days holiday Permanent, long‑term employment on a major UK project Excellent career progression opportunities
