Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Freelance to Permanent Opportunity Rate: £400 per day Location: Enfield, North London Sector: Enabling Works Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major enabling works project in Enfield. This position requires an individual capable of taking full ownership of the commercial function, running the project independently and working closely with both operational teams and the client. There is a genuine opportunity for the successful candidate to transition into a permanent role as further projects are secured. Key Responsibilities * Full commercial management of the project * Managing valuations, variations and final accounts * Producing cost reports, budgets and forecasts * Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts * Contract administration and risk management * Liaising directly with clients and senior stakeholders * Supporting operational teams with commercial strategy Requirements * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor * Background in enabling works, groundworks or civil engineering projects * Ability to run projects independently * Strong contractual and commercial knowledge * Excellent client-facing and communication skills * Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification What's on Offer * £400 per day * Long-term opportunity * Potential permanent appointment * Strong project pipeline and career progression prospects * Autonomy and responsibility on a key project
