Senior Site Engineer 📍 Durham 💰 £32,000 – £36,000 + Van + Excellent Site Package A well-established ground investigation contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Engineer to support ongoing projects across the North East region. This is a hands-on, fully site-based role suited to someone from a contracting ground investigation background who enjoys managing day-to-day site operations and being actively involved in fieldwork. There are no office-based reporting responsibilities attached to this position. The Role * Supervising ground investigation and drilling activities * Managing subcontractors and site operations * Logging soil and rock samples * Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site * Working across infrastructure, commercial, and development schemes * Travelling to projects throughout the region with occasional working away Requirements * Minimum 2–3 years’ experience within a site investigation contractor environment * Strong understanding of ground investigation works * Experience supervising field operations * Full UK Manual Driving Licence * Positive and flexible approach to site work Package * Salary between £32,000 – £36,000 * Company van and fuel card * Mobile phone and laptop * 24 days holiday plus bank holidays * Increased annual leave with service * 6% contributory pension * Disruption and subsistence allowances when working away * Holiday Buy-Back Scheme An excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer looking for a long-term role within a busy and growing contractor.
