Food Production Operative

Job Title: Production Operator (Morning & Afternoon Shifts)
Location: Bromsgrove
Hours: Morning and Afternoon shift available, 40 hours per week

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Production Operator to join our fast-paced food production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to maintaining high food safety standards. You will be responsible for operating production machinery, supporting food packing processes, and ensuring compliance with HACCP and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation

* Pack food items according to company standards and specifications

* Conduct routine equipment checks and perform basic maintenance as required

* Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols, including HACCP guidelines

* Assist with the preparation and processing of food products in line with established recipes

* Maintain accurate records of production output and report any operational issues

* Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets

* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the workplace

Experience and Skills:

* Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential

* Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards is advantageous

* Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment

Additional Requirements:

* Own transport is essential due to the location and shift start times
