About the role

A welcoming early years setting in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive environment where you will play a key role in helping young children build strong foundations for learning, development, and school readiness. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about early years education, who enjoys creating engaging, play-based learning experiences and supporting children through their earliest stages of development. The Role: * Support the planning and delivery of engaging EYFS activities in line with the Early Years Framework * Work with children aged 2–5, supporting their learning through play-based and structured activities * Promote children’s communication, language, personal, social, and emotional development * Observe, assess, and record children’s progress to support their next steps in learning * Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that supports each child’s individual needs * Work closely with the EYFS team to maintain high standards of care and education * Support daily routines including meal times, personal care, and transitions The Ideal Candidate: * Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent) * Experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or primary school reception) * A good understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development * Warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team * Passionate about supporting children’s early learning and development Requirements: * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) * Right to work in the UK * Relevant references Safeguarding Statement: Classroom Support is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
