Offshore Structures Transportation & Installation LeadOur client in the renewables sector is currently seeking an Offshore Structures Transportation & Installation Lead to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This opportunity is available in Bristol or London, and it's a unique role aimed at driving the offshore execution of the energy transition through leadership in transport and installation (T&I) for major offshore wind projects.Key Responsibilities:T&I Strategy & PlanningDevelop and lead the Transport & Installation (T&I) strategy for offshore wind projects.Define installation methodologies for WTG foundations, offshore substations, and subsea cables.Manage installation schedules, sequences, and marine logistics.Engineering & Technical OversightOversee T&I engineering deliverables including lift studies, rigging design, and sea fastening.Align with structural design, geotechnical, and cable engineering teams.Review and approve contractor T&I engineering documentation.Marine Operations & ExecutionLead planning and readiness for offshore campaigns.Assess vessel selection and port logistics.Provide technical support during offshore operations.Contractor & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary interface for T&I contractors and stakeholders.Support procurement activities including preparation of T&I scopes of work.Engage with certification bodies and regulators to ensure compliance.Risk, Safety & AssuranceLead HSE-by-design approach for all T&I activities.Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards.Develop ALARP installation solutions.Job Requirements:Significant experience in offshore windfarm T&I strategies and execution.In-depth knowledge of marine operations, vessel suitability, and offshore installation procedures.Strong technical oversight skills including engineering deliverables and alignment.Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.Understanding of HSE practices and compliance with industry standards.Capability to manage complex project interfaces efficiently and cost-effectively.Benefits:Competitive salary.Opportunity to work on major offshore wind projects.Diverse and dynamic team environment.Career development and progression opportunities.Comprehensive employee benefits package.If you are an experienced Offshore Structures Transportation & Installation Lead looking for a stimulating permanent role in the renewable energy sector, we would love to hear from you.
