Pertemps is delighted to be partnering with Buckinghamshire Council to recruit an experienced and forward-thinking Resourcing Lead to join their HR & OD team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to lead end-to-end recruitment activity across a broad range of service areas, supporting the Council's ambition to attract, engage and retain exceptional talent.
The successful candidate will manage permanent, fixed-term and temporary recruitment campaigns, working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to deliver an outstanding recruitment service and candidate experience. The role will also play a key part in workforce planning, market mapping, talent attraction initiatives and continuous improvement across recruitment processes.
What you'll be doing:
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing end-to-end recruitment activity across multiple service areas
Providing expert recruitment advice and guidance to stakeholders
Developing innovative attraction and retention strategies
Supporting hard-to-fill and senior recruitment campaigns
Conducting market mapping and candidate engagement activity
Leading on process improvements and recruitment best practice
Building strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation
Supporting KPI delivery including vacancy fill rates and time to hire
What we're looking for:
To be considered, applicants will demonstrate:
Significant recruitment experience within a large or complex organisation
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Experience managing multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously
Knowledge of recruitment legislation, policy and best practice
Experience of talent attraction, market mapping and candidate engagement
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A proactive and solution-focused approach
Experience within the public sector and knowledge of systems such as Service Now and Talent Link would be advantageous.
