The Senior Legal Cashier role in Leeds is all about managing the financial transactions that keep a professional services firm running smoothly. You'll handle day-to-day cashiering duties, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in all financial processes. Client Details This professional services organisation is based in Leeds, specialising in delivering services in their field. Description Process daily financial transactions, including client and office account payments. Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules. Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records. Handle client ledger queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Prepare and process invoices and other financial documents. Assist with month-end and year-end financial procedures. Provide support to the wider finance team as required. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial operations.Profile A successful Senior Legal Cashier should have: Experience in legal cashiering within a professional services environment. A solid understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and compliance requirements. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. A proactive approach to solving problems and managing workload.Job Offer 35 hours a week (between the hours of 09.00-17.00) - 1 hour for 6 month opportunity.
