Health & Safety Consultant | Bolton Fixed-term Contract (Circa 5 Weeks) – Immediate start
Competitive Day Rate | 37.5 hour week
TSA Riley’s Health & Safety team are seeking to hire an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to work in a fast-paced retail environment for national client who own a large chain of stores throughout the UK.
This is a fixed-term contract for approximately 5 weeks, and the successful candidate will be paid a competitive day rate and split their time between our Bolton office and site visits in the north and Midlands regions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Consultant to join an established and professional team with the primary purpose of supporting and advising the project team. Carrying out health & safety audits at small to medium sized businesses using iAuditor/Safety Culture Software.
Producing policies, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, safe working practices.
Helping Clients with SSIP Accreditations (CHAS, SMAS etc.).
Delivery of training and coaching.
Advising on Wellbeing initiatives specifically aimed at the construction industry.
Administrating projects using iManage software.
Preparing health and safety files.
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
CSCS card
Prior experience of carrying out the Health & Safety Consultant role or a similar equivalent role with a reputable construction contractor, consultancy or developer is desired.
Experience of working in a Health & Safety role across a range of sectors within the construction built environment is essential.
Ability to review risk assessments in a working environment and advise on reasonably practicable control measures.
Demonstrably strong report and document writing skills.
Strong planning and organisational skills are desired with demonstrable experience of successfully working on multiple contracts and/or client accounts concurrently.
Full UK driving license is essential as regular travel to regional sites will be required.
