Civils Sub-Agent

Apex Resources Limited are on the lookout for a heavy Civils Sub-Agent with 278 works experience in Haslingden, BB4 The Sub-Agent will work closely with the Site Agent, Project Manager, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure that project activities are delivered efficiently and in accordance with contractual, engineering, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will also help manage day-to-day site operations, monitor progress against programme milestones, and support the coordination of labour, plant, materials, and subcontract resources. You will review drawings, specifications, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure works are properly planned before execution. A key part of the role involves identifying construction risks, resolving technical and operational issues, and maintaining accurate records of site activities, quantities, inspections, and changes. In this position, you will contribute to short-term and long-term planning, helping to sequence works in a way that maximizes productivity while minimizing disruption, delays, and rework. You will also support commercial awareness on site by tracking resource usage, assisting with measurement and reporting, and highlighting potential cost impacts or variations. 278 works experience and also heavy civils knowlegde is essential.
