Product Owner - Payments

Product Owner - Payments - Perm role - £65K - Hybrid (M4 Corridor) An excellent opportunity for a Product Owner to join a thriving and growing software business, and take responsibility for a number of key initiatives around payments; both delivering features alongside Scrum teams, and contributing to the strategic roadmap. You'll be responsible for working on a number of key projects across the whole solution. That will range from a key multi-year programme to a number of smaller deliverables. Additionally you'll work closely with various teams and customers to contribute to the payments product roadmap, prioritising features and putting together business cases. You'll work day to day with Scrum teams within the business to prioritise and deliver features, deliver the backlog and plan sprints, and ensure that features are fully integrated into the overall product strategy. It's an opportunity to play a key part in a highly strategic programme of work, in an organisation where there are strong career paths and opportunities to progress as you build your experience.  You'll need previous experience as a Product Owner or Manager in a SaaS vendor environment. Experience working in both B2B and B2C environments would be helpful, in particular the ability to understand customer need and put together commercial business cases for new features to meet those needs. Experience in payments would be ideal; direct debits, cards, or mobile payments or other payments areas would work well.  The role is hybrid - two days a week in the office near Reading.  Salary is around £65K base.
