About the role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and proactive People Partner to join a busy People & Culture team on a temporary contract for approximately 4 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong employee relations experience to support managers across a diverse organisation, providing expert guidance on a wide range of people matters while helping to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities Provide a professional and customer focused HR partnering service across designated business areas.
Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance issues.
Manage a varied ER caseload, ensuring timely and consistent resolutions.
Support and lead investigations, hearings and formal meetings where required.
Build effective working relationships with managers, colleagues and trade union representatives.
Support the development and implementation of HR policies and best practice initiatives.
Contribute to wider People & Culture projects and continuous improvement activity.
About You Significant experience managing complex employee relations cases.
Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
Experience working collaboratively with trade unions and senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and manage competing demands.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR systems.
CIPD qualification or equivalent relevant HR experience.
