Project Manager (Waste)

We are firmly focused on the future and have made a clear commitment to serve residents better and to provide stronger representation for Buckinghamshire, both locally and nationally. About the roleThe Waste Project Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of a variety of waste management projects, including shaping the way that Buckinghamshire Council delivers its waste collection and disposal services to its residents, with a key aim of increasing our recycling rate.  The post holder will be working closely with the Neighbourhood Services Director along with the Head of Waste Strategy and other Heads of Service (waste collection, disposal and collection procurement) and their teams, and internal/external experts in multi-disciplined teams. The role will involve high-profile decisions through organisation governances in line with Buckinghamshire Council’s vision, values, and strategic objectives.Any-Desk:As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required.
