PHP Developer (Hybrid) Location: Blackpool, LancashireJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: 40,000-50,000 per annumWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home The Opportunity We're working with an established and growing technology business that is looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join its Development team in Blackpool.You'll be working with large and varied datasets, solving interesting technical challenges and developing reliable systems that transform complex information into valuable insights.If you're a developer who enjoys working with data, solving technical problems and building high-quality applications, this could be an excellent next step. What You'll Be Doing Developing and maintaining web applications using PHP 8, Laravel and/or SymfonyWorking with MySQL and large, complex datasetsDesigning and developing new features and functionalityBuilding intuitive and engaging interfaces using HTML, CSS, Tailwind and JavaScriptWorking with JavaScript technologies such as Alpine.js and Vue.jsIntegrating APIs and working with a variety of data sourcesTroubleshooting, debugging and resolving technical and data-related issuesImproving application performance, reliability and scalabilityWorking with Git and modern development workflows What We're Looking For You'll ideally have:Commercial experience developing applications with PHPGood knowledge of Laravel and/or SymfonyStrong experience working with MySQLGood knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScriptExperience with Tailwind CSS and/or Alpine.js / Vue.jsExperience using Git and modern development practicesA methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solvingAn understanding of writing clean, maintainable and reliable codeExperience working with large datasets, analytics platforms, APIs or data-heavy applications would be highly advantageous.
