Fruit Packing Operative

40 hours a week, over 4 days, 7am to 6pm. Week starts on a Sunday. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fruit Packer to join our team. As a Fruit Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch fruit boxes that meet our quality standards. Your work will require you to assemble and pack fruit boxes efficiently and accurately Key Responsibilities: 1. Sorting and Inspection: Carefully inspect fruits for quality, freshness, and ripeness, ensuring only the best produce is included in our fruit boxes. 2. Assembly: Accurately assemble fruit boxes according to established packing guidelines, taking care to arrange fruits attractively. 3. Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of quality by adhering to food safety and hygiene standards throughout the packing process. 4. Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory by keeping track of stock levels and notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. 5. Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other team members to meet daily packing targets and maintain a positive work environment. 6. Warehouse Support: Provide assist in the warehouse with picking and packing during busy days, or as required Essential requirements:  Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.  Strong communication and teamwork skills.  Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided).  Punctuality and reliability.
