Warehouse Operative Furniture Installer

Overview About the Role We are looking for reliable, hands-on individuals to join our property staging team, specialising in the installation and removal of furniture in show homes, new-build properties, and hotel suites. You will play a key role in helping developers and interior teams present high-quality furnished spaces that are ready for viewing and sale. This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail, care, and a professional attitude. Key Responsibilities * Delivering, unloading, and installing furniture in show homes, apartments, and hotels * Carefully assembling furniture and placing items according to staging plans * Handling furniture safely to avoid damage to property or items * Loading and unloading vehicles at warehouse and site locations * Dismantling and removing staged furniture when projects are complete * Working as part of a small installation team on-site * Ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard and within deadlines * Maintaining a clean, tidy, and professional work environment on site What We're Looking For * Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy furniture regularly * Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts * Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions/layout plans * Team player with a positive, can-do attitude * Previous experience in removals, furniture installation, warehousing, or logistics is desirable but not essential * Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential (depending on role allocation) Desirable Experience (Not Essential) * Furniture removals or delivery experience * Warehouse or logistics background * Property staging or interior setup experience * Assembly of flat-pack furniture (e.g., IKEA-style builds) What We Offer * Competitive hourly pay with enhanced rate for late shifts * Overtime paid at time and a half * Regular ongoing work * Variety of sites including high-end developments and hotels * Supportive team environment Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work depending on projects Work Location: On-site (various locations across London and surrounding areas)
