Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver Shipley £12.71 per hour Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:45pm 45-minute unpaid lunch break Description Novara People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing and distribution business based in Shipley for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver. This is a varied, hands-on role within a busy warehouse, supporting both goods in and goods out operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring stock is received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining a safe and organised working environment. An FLT licence is not essential, as full training can be provided for candidates with previous forklift experience. Duties Loading and unloading deliveries Booking goods in and preparing orders for dispatch Picking, packing and palletising products Carrying out goods in and goods out duties Using computer systems to book stock in and update inventory Manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift Moving stock safely around the warehouse Operating a Counterbalance FLT where required (training provided if necessary) Completing basic paperwork and stock checks Maintaining high standards of housekeeping Following all health and safety procedures Skills: Previous warehouse experience is essential Previous Counterbalance FLT experience is preferred, however a licence is not essential Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling Confident using computers and warehouse systems Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good attention to detail Reliable, punctual and hardworking Positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
