MET Technician/Mechanic/Vehicle Technician

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced PCV Mechanic to join our workshop team at our Wincanton depot. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to become part of a friendly, supportive, and professional team, working on a modern and diverse fleet of buses and coaches within a well-established, family-run business. Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on PCVs (buses and coaches) Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs to DVSA standards Prepare vehicles for MOTs, carry out inspections, and rectify defects Accurately complete maintenance records and parts documentation NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (preferred) Proven experience as a PCV or HGV mechanic Category D driving licence advantageous (or willingness to train) Competitive salary based on experience Overtime opportunities Company pension scheme Ongoing training and career development Long-term job security within a vital transport service sector On-site parking Full-time position - 45 Hours per week Monday to Friday Weekend availability required Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time
