Hygiene Manager (Nights) Food Manufacturing North West Up to £44,772 Monday to Friday Nights (22:00 - 07:00) Jelly Technical is recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer for a Night Hygiene Manager to join a fast-paced production site within a well-established and growing business supplying major UK retailers. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hygiene Manager or Supervisor ready to step up, to take ownership of a night hygiene function within a business that values high standards, team development and continuous improvement. Alongside a competitive salary on offer is an enhanced support package: Bonus Scheme Enhanced pension Life assurance (x3) Private healthcare Option to purchase additional annual leave days (up to 2 working weeks) Ongoing training and development programsAs a Hygiene Manager your key responsibilities include: Lead, organise and manage the Night Hygiene Team to ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to required standards Ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP, COSHH and internal quality procedures Carry out audits and end-of-shift checks to ensure the site is ready for production Manage hygiene budgets and control stock levels of cleaning materials and PPE Work closely with engineering to support maintenance and minimise disruption to hygiene schedules Lead, coach and develop the hygiene team, addressing performance, training and engagement Manage absence, conduct return-to-work interviews and support HR processes where required Take ownership of recruitment and on-boarding within the hygiene team Support site audits and ensure corrective actions are completed within agreed timescales Collaborate cross-functionally to drive hygiene standards and food safety culture across site What You'll Bring: Experience within a food manufacturing environment (minimum 3 years preferred) Proven experience leading or supervising hygiene teams Strong knowledge of HACCP and COSHH Relevant qualifications (Level 3 Food Safety, IOSH or equivalent desirable) Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach What You'll Get: Salary up to £44,772 plus bonus scheme Life assurance (3x salary) Employee assistance programme & healthcare support Generous annual leave plus option to purchase additional days Access to discounts, wellbeing initiatives and financial support schemes Ongoing training and development, including funded qualifications Recognition schemes and employee engagement initiatives Apply TODAY to express an interest.
