Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly UK and Ireland payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.

• Manage expatriate payroll, hypothetical tax calculations, and executive compensation, including RSU tax calculations.

• Coordinate daily payroll team activities and provide guidance and support to team members.

• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and payroll journals, supporting audits and resolving finance queries.

• Work closely with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve payroll issues and support year-end activities.

• Manage external payroll providers and monitor service delivery.

• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and participate in local and global projects.

• Ensure payroll practices meet statutory reporting, record-keeping, and data protection requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland payroll legislation and statutory obligations.

• Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, SAP, ADP, or local payroll platforms.

• CIPP qualification.

• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and reconciliations.

• Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working with external payroll providers.
