Job Title: SEN Teacher Manor Wood School, Bishopsworth, Bristol, BS13 8AG Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:30pm Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata) Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only Are you a passionate teacher looking for an opportunity to make a genuine difference to children and young people with additional needs? Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, youll have the freedom to adapt your teaching to the individual strengths, interests and needs of your pupils. If youre an experienced SEN Teacher, or a qualified teacher looking to bring your skills and creativity into specialist education, wed love to hear from you. Plan and deliver creative, engaging and personalised lessons across the secondary curriculum. Adapt teaching to individual learning needs, helping every pupil access education and experience meaningful success. Create a calm, nurturing and inclusive classroom where pupils feel safe, understood and ready to learn. Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and the wider school team to provide consistent, holistic support. Contribute your ideas to curriculum development, enrichment opportunities and the continued growth of the school. Champion safeguarding and promote the wellbeing of every child and young person. Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Is passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND. Can bring learning to life through creative, flexible and engaging teaching. Enjoys working collaboratively with education, therapy and support colleagues. Has high expectations while recognising and celebrating each pupils individual journey. Is committed to developing professionally and contributing to a positive, ambitious school community.
