Document Controller – Renewable Energy

The Company:

Our client is an industry-leading renewable energy firm delivering major infrastructure projects that support the global transition to sustainable energy. Based in Central London, they operate within a fast-paced, innovative environment, offering hybrid working and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact, technically complex projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of a new Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Manage project documentation, data, and records from pre-construction through to project handover.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
  • Generate and maintain reports covering workflows, RFIs, and document control metrics.
  • Train and support project teams on document control procedures and best practices.
  • Administer SharePoint systems, ensuring accurate filing and document management.
  • Conduct audits of project documentation to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Align document control processes with the organisation’s Quality Management System.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across document management processes.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in document control within architecture, engineering, construction, or infrastructure environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Document Control Systems (InEight desirable but not essential – training provided).
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support and train project teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
