Domiciliary Care Worker ( Bed Run)

Domiciliary Carers work as part of a team to provide personal and domestic care to adults at risk including the frail, elderly and those with mental and physical health issues in their own homes.

- FULL TRAINING IS PROVIDED! (£150 Joining Bonus) Strabane & District Caring Services has part-time (16 hour & 20 hour) contracts available for Domiciliary Carers who will provide care in the community in either the CITYSIDE or WATERSIDE AREAS of Derry/Londonderry , and Strabane area.

RATE OF PAY: Monday-Thursday Bed (Evening) run: £13.15 PER HOUR Friday and Saturday/Sunday Bed ( Evening) run : £14.50 PER HOUR PLUS Mileage at 35p per Mile ( T&Cs apply) PLUS £150 Joining Bonus (T&Cs apply) Qualifications/ Experience: Essential: A full valid driving licence and access to transport for work purposes.

Good written and oral communication.

Work as part of a team.

Understanding of health and safety in the workplace.

Able to promote and deliver personal care.

Able to promote dignity and respect in care delivery.

Carers must be flexible and able to cover additional hours when necessary.

Desirable: 6 months experience in formal care setting.

NVQ level 2 in care or equivalent.

NISCC registered or willing to undertake if successful.

Knowledge of domiciliary care minimum standards.

Successful applicants must be willing to carry out Enhanced Access NI check.
