The Company This established general main contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality new build and refurbishment projects up to £3 million. With a steady pipeline of secured work and long-standing client relationships, they continue to grow across the South Coast region. Projects include: * Schools & education facilities * Hospitals & healthcare environments * Commercial developments * Public sector refurbishments The Role of the Quantity Surveyor You’ll take commercial responsibility across multiple projects, working closely with operational teams from pre-construction through to final account. Key responsibilities include: * Managing project costs and valuations * Subcontract procurement and management * Preparing CVRs and commercial reporting * Handling variations and final accounts * Working under JCT forms of contract * Supporting successful project delivery on time and within budget What They’re Looking For * Experience working for a main contractor * Good understanding of JCT contracts * Strong commercial awareness and communication skills * Ability to manage projects independently (level dependent) * Experience within refurbishment and/or new build projects preferred What’s On Offer * Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 DOE * Genuine career progression opportunities * Diverse and interesting project portfolio * Supportive and professional team environment * Long-term pipeline of secured work If you're looking to join a contractor where your contribution is recognised and your career can genuinely progress, this is an excellent opportunity to explore.
