Location: Derby (DE21)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Fully on-site
4-Day Week: Work just four days a week while earning a full-time salary.
We're looking for a Business Support Assistant to join our friendly and growing professional services company in Derby.
You'll be the welcoming face of our business, playing a key role in creating an outstanding experience for our clients while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office. This is a varied role with plenty of responsibility and variety.

What You'll Be Doing:

Welcoming clients and visitors with a professional, friendly approach.

Answering incoming telephone calls and emails, directing enquiries to the appropriate team members.

Providing administrative support, including document preparation, data entry and report formatting.
*
Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
*
Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring meeting spaces are presented to a high standard.
*
Handling incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and couriers.
*
Ordering office supplies and helping maintain a tidy, professional workplace.
*
Assisting with office events, projects and day-to-day operational activities.
*
Identifying opportunities to improve office processes and efficiency.
About You:
We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable and enjoys helping both clients and colleagues.
You'll ideally have:

Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative or office support role.
*
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*
Great attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
*
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
*
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage would be beneficial, although full training can be provided.
