A day in the life of a Murphy Operations Manager:
Take full accountability for safe, compliant, and commercially controlled project delivery.
Ensure the project is delivered to contract, programme, and budget.
Set clear delivery standards across the projects.
Lead, empower, and inspire the project team towards successful delivery. empowering and inspiring others to successfully deliver.
Plan for current and future resource requirements and develop and implement strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Critically analyse and review budgets, forecast, and performance.
Identify and manage project risks and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
Lead project progress and performance reviews as part of the business’ reporting processes.
Ensure projects follow the gateway process and that they are “fit to start” and “fit to finish”.
Oversee stakeholder management, scope management, contracts, programme, project controls, forecasting, and cost control.
Contribute to the work winning process to support tender submissions.
Lead client engagement and negotiations.

Confident managing clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
HNC / HND or NVQ Level 5 (or Degree)
