Job Overview:The Manager Quality Operations requires an in-depth understanding of Operations concepts, theories,  principles, and basic knowledge of other related disciplines. They must be able to apply an understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policies for the Operations discipline, as well as identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness. The Manager Quality Operations impacts the level of service and the Operations team’s ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan should guide decisions made by the Manager Quality Operations. Our ingenuity fuels daily life. Essential Qualifications and Education:Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred in a related field of study10+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry in a Quality Manager roleOverall experience in the application of Quality Management principles in the construction industry  Able to communicate and write clearly and concisely  Competent user of in-house software with working knowledge of wider applicationsInternal/External Auditor Qualifications #LI-LJ1Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Assist in all areas of quality for pre-contract planningCoordinate with Engineering in the development of inspection and test plans  Assure enough QA/QC resources are available to support all Project ProcessesAssure that Quality requirements are included in subcontractor(s) contract requirements  Review key project deliverables to confirm compliance with quality requirements  Review applicable subcontractors/supplier’s quality documentation  Assure project quality documentation and records are developed and maintainedIdentify non-conformancesLiaise with the project Quality team and Project management on quality-related issuesPrepare and maintain the Project Quality ManualManage and coordinate Procedure Program Implementation– including New Procedure Generation, revisions, and compliance  Assist in the assessment and evaluation of potential Subcontractors  Perform Project Audits by preparing audit schedulesIdentify the need for and coordinate the development of, review, and issue all special project procedures per contract requirements  Monitor the effectiveness of QMSMonitor and report company KPIs  Provide Quality reports to senior management as required  Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teamsFull timePosting Date: 2026-06-09
