Project Design Lead

Project Design Lead - Water £60-£70 per hour Inside IR35 Water & Wastewater Advance TRS are looking for an experienced Project Design Lead to provide engineering leadership and design support across major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The Role Lead design development for membrane process water treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines, shafts, deep pressure tanks and associated infrastructure. Coordinate with Senior Project Design Leads to monitor progress, risks, resources, budgets and programme. Support technical teams to resolve design and delivery issues. Review and develop design and contract specifications for major water and wastewater projects. Identify risks and potential programme delays, escalating where required. Support the team through DCO pre-examination and examination periods. About You Degree-qualified in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. 10+ years' experience in the water/wastewater sector. APM/Project Management qualification desirable. Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership. Strong experience with planning, design development and technical specifications. Excellent communication, coordination and report-writing skills. Experience with DCO, Transport & Works Act Order or hybrid parliamentary bill documentation desirable.
