About the role

Monzo is seeking an Engineering Director, Security to lead a 30–50 person technical security organisation. You will partner with the CISO and senior engineering leaders to embed security as an intrinsic property of software and drive strategy across core platform primitives.

You will oversee architectural decisions, reduce systemic risk, and foster an inclusive, high-performance engineering culture with a strong emphasis on security-by-default.
