Vehicle Technician (IMI Level 3) Exeter Workshop Permanent | Full-Time Up to £65,000 OTE (including overtime) Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for stability, variety, and long-term career progression? The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a fleet of over 49,000 vehicles, including electric vehicles, LCVs, and HGVs. Working in a modern, fully equipped workshop, you’ll carry out inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to keep vehicles safe and operational. Key responsibilities: Perform inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs Maintain a range of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment Use your own tools alongside specialist workshop equipment Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standardsWorking Hours 39.5 hours per week (5 over 6 days) Rotating shifts: Week 1: 06:00 – 14:30 Week 2: 07:30 – 15:00 Week 3: 11:30 – 20:00 1 in 3 Saturdays (with a weekday off)What’s on Offer Up to £70,000 OTE with overtime £1,500 welcome bonus* 22.5 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service) Option to buy more annual leave Company-matched pension scheme Full PPE and workwear provided Ongoing training and career development Discounts on shopping, travel, tech, and more Work for the Environmental Fleet of the Year 2024About You IMI Level 3 qualified (Light or Heavy Vehicle or equivalent) Proven experience working on a variety of vehicles (LCV/HGV) Own toolkit for routine maintenance Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable) High standards and attention to detailFlexible and team-oriented approach
